- Sikre klarhet om hva coaching er og hvordan det brukes
- Koble "Coaching" som en disiplin til å forbedre individuelle og teamprestasjoner (eller analysere og rette opp underprestasjoner)
- Forstå hvordan delt læring enkelt kan overføres til en "forpliktelse til handling"
Coaching modeller
- Introduksjon til GROW-modellen
- G = Goal: formålet med diskusjonen eller endringer individet/teamet ønsker å gjøre
- R = Reality : en ærlig vurdering av dagens situasjon og behovet for endring
- O = Alternativer : hva kan gjøres for å oppnå denne endringen; hva annet; er det noe annet…?
- W = Vilje: er ønsket om å gjennomskue dette eller vil en av de andre faktorene – GRO – forhindre oppnåelse av endringen; hvordan vil vi måle fremgang?
- Ta hensyn til alle faktorene som kreves i:
- Gjør visjon til virkelighet
- Levere målbare resultater
- Å ta effektive beslutninger
- Håndtere endringen
- Introduserer House of Change: forstå behovet for noen ganger å gjøre ting verre før de kan bli bedre
Bli en vellykket trener
- Hvordan oppfører en trener seg?
- Hva gjør en trener?
- Forstår du behovet for å forbli adskilt – på avstand? – fra detaljene og bare bidra med individuelle kommentarer / forslag på passende tidspunkt
- Trenerprestasjoner fra enkeltpersoner hvis daglige arbeid vi ikke forstår
