- Interpret the ISO/IEC 42001 requirements for an AIMS from an implementer's viewpoint
- Initiate and plan the deployment of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001 using PECB’s IMS2 Methodology and other best practices
- Support an organization in the ongoing operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
- Prepare an organization to successfully undergo a third-party certification audit

Day 1: Overview of ISO/IEC 42001 and the initial steps in implementing an AIMS
Day 2: Strategic planning for AIMS implementation
Day 3: Executing the implementation of an AIMS
Day 4: Monitoring, continuous improvement, and readiness for the certification audit
Day 5: Certification examination
Upon successful completion of the training course, you will be able to:
- Describe the fundamental concepts and principles of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
- Interpret the ISO/IEC 42001 requirements for an AIMS from the perspective of an implementer
- Initiate and plan the implementation of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001 by utilizing PECB’s IMS2 Methodology and other best practices
- Support an organization in operating, maintaining, and continually improving an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
- Prepare an organization to undergo a third party certification audit
Exam
The “PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer” examination fulfills all the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). It encompasses the following competency domains:
Domain 1: Core principles and concepts of an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)
Domain 2: Requirements for an artificial intelligence management system
Domain 3: Planning an AIMS implementation in line with ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 4: Implementing an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 5: Monitoring and measuring an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 6: Continuous improvement and preparation for an AIMS certification audit
Available Credentials and Requirements
Upon passing the examination, you may apply for one of the following credentials based on your professional background and project experience. Certification is granted once you meet all the criteria for the chosen tier, including signing the PECB Code of Ethics.
1. PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Provisional Implementer

2. PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Implementer

Exam Requirement: PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer exam or equivalent

Professional Experience: A total of two years of experience, with at least one year dedicated to artificial intelligence

AIMS Project Experience: At least 200 hours of relevant project activities

Other Requirements: Signing the PECB Code of Ethics
3. PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer

Exam Requirement: PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer exam or equivalent

Professional Experience: A total of five years of experience, with at least two years focused on artificial intelligence

AIMS Project Experience: At least 300 hours of project activities

4. PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Senior Lead Implementer

Exam Requirement: PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer exam or equivalent

Professional Experience: A total of ten years of experience, with at least seven years dedicated to artificial intelligence

AIMS Project Experience: At least 1,000 hours of project activities

General
- The training course price includes both certification and examination fees.
- Participants are provided with comprehensive training materials, featuring over 400 pages of content, practical case studies, exercises, and quizzes.
- A certificate of completion, equivalent to 31 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits, is awarded to participants who attend the training course.
- Candidates who have completed the training but did not pass the exam may retake it once, free of charge, within 12 months of the original exam date.
Requirements
A basic understanding of AIMS and ISO/IEC 42001 is the primary prerequisite for joining this training course.
