Learning Objectives
Upon successfully finishing the training, you will be able to:
- Articulate the core concepts and principles underlying artificial intelligence management
- Outline the primary requirements of ISO/IEC 42001 for implementing an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)
- Recognize the strategies, methods, and techniques applied in the deployment, governance, and optimization of an AIMS
Course Schedule
Day 1: Overview of artificial intelligence management systems (AIMS) and the ISO/IEC 42001 standard
Day 2: Deep dive into AIMS and the certification examination
Assessment
The ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation exam satisfies all criteria of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) and assesses the following competency areas:
Domain 1: Core principles and concepts of an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)
Domain 2: Implementation and management of an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)

Certification
Upon passing the exam, you may apply for the “PECB Certificate Holder in ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation” credential. For additional details on ISO/IEC 42001 certifications and the PECB certification process, please review the Certification Rules and Policies.
The eligibility criteria for the ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation certificate are detailed below:
General Information
- The cost of certification and examination is encompassed within the training course fee.
- Attendees will receive comprehensive training materials, featuring more than 200 pages of content, including practical examples, exercises, and quizzes.
- Participants who complete the course will be issued an attestation of completion, granting 14 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits.
- Candidates who finish the training but do not pass the exam on their first attempt may retake the exam at no additional cost once within 12 months of their initial exam date.
Requirements
No prior prerequisites are required to participate in this training program.
