Day 1

Settling In and Preparation Formalities

Material preparation, participant settlement, and refreshments

Module 1: My Confidence, My Stage

Understanding the importance of self-confidence in successful public speaking delivery and personal expression

Activity 1: I Am Me

Participants will take the stage to share information about themselves, helping to build confidence and self-esteem.

Module 2: The Power of Influence and Persuasion – How to Get People to Listen

Discussion on the importance of implying and delivering ideas that aim to influence, inspire, and capture attention.

Activity 2: The Blind Guide

Three participants from each group will attempt to build a tower of Lego/Building Blocks with alternating colors. Two will be blindfolded, while one remains unblindfolded to serve as the captain. The captain leads the two blindfolded members using their voice as the primary source of instruction. One blindfolded participant builds the structure, while the other relays the instructions.

Synthesis Session

Summary and discussion on the importance of the previous session

Module 3: Public Speaking and Its Structure

Discussion on the structure of public speaking, preparation techniques, and key considerations for delivery.

Activity 3: My Crazy Story

Participant groups will create a story based on a single source topic

Module 4: Construction and Delivery of the Speech

Focus on ways to construct the core message of a speech, identify effective delivery strategies, and prepare personally for delivery.

Final Synthesis and Assignment Delivery

Participants will receive one of the following topics for discussion, with a maximum duration of 5 to 10 minutes.

Day 2

Activity 1: Delivery of Identified Topics through Public Presentation

Module 5: Merging Public Speaking and the Internet Superhighway
