Agile Project Management with Kanban Training Course

Join this instructor-led live training in Norway to master Agile project management using Kanban and Jira. Participants will learn to implement Kanban workflows, customize Jira for their organization, perform advanced searches, and generate reports to enhance team productivity.

This live, instructor-led training (available online or on-site) is suitable for participants at both beginner and advanced levels. The tools and insights gained can be directly applied to your daily work to enhance workflow efficiency.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

• Boost the volume of work items completed within a given timeframe.
• Shorten the duration needed to finish work items.
• Enhance the predictability of work outcomes (providing more accurate responses to "When will it be finished?").
• Track flow metrics (including throughput, lead time, work in progress, and the age of work items).
• Utilize flow charts such as the Cumulative Flow Diagram, Lead Time Histogram, and Work Aging Chart.
• Apply statistical forecasting techniques, including Monte Carlo simulations and Service Level Agreements.
• Methodically design a Kanban System (using STATIK).
• Comprehend Little's Law, which explains the nature of value flow.

Over the course of two days, this training is tailored to assist teams operating within an Agile Release Train (ART) in functioning efficiently within an Agile setting by implementing frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and XP. Participants will gain insights into how to operate as an Agile Team, including creating and managing backlogs, as well as successfully planning and carrying out iterations. The curriculum also highlights the importance of grasping the team’s specific role within the ART, and how to collaborate, plan, execute, and drive continuous improvement in conjunction with other teams.

The training equips teams to engage in a Program Increment (PI), addressing both Team-level and Program-level activities, with a special emphasis on PI planning sessions. Upon completing the course, participants will be prepared to take the certification exam to earn their SAFe® Practitioner (SP) credential.
