Online Ubuntu Training in Norway

In today's evolving IT environment, the need for flexibility and operational efficiency makes transitioning to open-source infrastructure not merely a choice, but a strategic imperative. While your team possesses strong expertise in Windows ecosystems, the lack of proficiency in Linux limits the ability to deploy modern, scalable web applications and storage solutions effectively.

The Solution: This intensive 5-Day Accelerated Program is tailored to close this competency gap. Beyond merely teaching syntax, we empower Windows-focused administrators to become proficient Linux System Engineers. Upon completion, your team will be equipped to provision secure web servers, administer networked storage, and—most importantly—establish centralized identity management by leveraging Active Directory protocols within Linux environments.

Upon completing this training, participants will be able to:

• Provision & Harden: Install Ubuntu Server from the ground up and enhance security using industry-standard SSH protocols.
• Govern Identity: (New) Set up and administer Active Directory services via Samba to centralize user account and authentication management (LDAP).
• Automate Processes: Develop Bash scripts to streamline repetitive maintenance operations.
• Host Services: Deploy and maintain production-grade web servers (Apache/Nginx).

This instructor-led live training in Norway (online or on-site) is aimed at system administrators who wish to use Ubuntu to set up and manage network devices, virtual machines, and containers in a secure, customizable, and user-friendly operating system.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Set up the necessary environment to manage network devices, virtual machines, and cloud images with Ubuntu.
• Understand the features and advantages of Ubuntu and the different variants.
• Configure network devices and security using bash and sudo shell commands.
• Use the technologies (such as OpenStack) and tools available in Ubuntu to manage virtualization and cloud containers.
• Learn how to set up and configure mail servers (Dovecot, Exim4, and Postfix) and web servers (Apache) in Ubuntu.
